One such instance that has gone viral in WhatsApp Malayalee groups is ഓ ബാബു വിസ ഒത്തു
ബൂം ബൂം, പിന്നുണ്ടൊ പിന്നുണ്ടൊ ബൂം ബൂം.

The WhatsApp message which has been forwarded++++ times goes like this:-

For those who can read Malayalam will ROFL by the end of these 45 seconds.

I was just curious about the song. So I went tracking this song and the real lyrics. The original song called Bad Boy is by Norwegian musician Martin Tungevaag & the Swedish Robbin Söderlund (known as Raaban). They both share an interest in the EDM genre – Electronic Dance Music, the ones that make you move your feet in the dance clubs (sadly pre covid era ).

The song goes like this:

The Malayalam fun pun interpretation was mentioned by a youtube channel BGM World in the comment section of one of the videos of Bad Boy. Hats off to the person who came out with this interpretation 🙂 I hope someone helps in finding the person who wrote this line which has made malayalees go rolling on the floor laughing.

This was later picked up as a small snippet in the show ‘Malayalee Poliyale’ by Akshay Vlogger. Akshay has a subscriber base of 739k in YouTube. It made lot of malayalees to check the actual song and comment on it.

If you check the comments under the original video of Bad Boy at the start of this page, you will see the majority of comments are from the unique people from the southern part of India, the special Malayalees :).

In this current era, where trolls, memes, infotainment, news, fake news, and now even a virus like Covid spreads across the globe by just a touch / click in a matter of seconds / minutes / hours / days, you never know when things will actually go ‘viral’ :).

But definitely moments / fun interpretations like these helps to bring a big smile if not a laugh riot in otherwise a dull 2020.
