Food trucks have slowly and steadily found their place in the Thane street food line up.

Lok puram , Hiranandani Meadows area have seen a major surge of food trucks in the last 5-6 months.

The recent addition to this Food truck line up is ‘Darjeeling Momos’. Darjeeling Momos was an instant hit and people are spoiled for choice at this outlet. What began in a small modified Tata Ace truck has now been changed to a bigger food truck. The transition has happened in just 5 months.

This shows the amount of customers who are flocking this place. Darjeeling Momos now serve their customers from a big Food truck (modified tempo traveller). The owner of the place is all smiles when I asked him “aap ka toh mast chal raha hai business”. He was humble and answered “kismat acha hai , momos click ho gaya”. I liked his business acumen. He has not sold his small truck. He is planning to put up the small truck in a different location in Thane so that he gets more money coming in.

Darjeeling Momos have enough options for both Vegetarians and Non-Vegitarians. Also you have an option of picking up the preparation in steam / butter fried / fried momos.

Vegetarian option includes Veg mix momos, paneer momos, palak corn momos and soya momos. Non vegetarians can lay their hand on different varieties of Chicken and Mutton momos. They also serve veg soup and chicken soup.

My personal favorite is butter fried Palak Corn Momos (cheese topping is also available).

So if you are looking to eat mouth watering Momos then head to DM. It is easy to locate ‘Darjeeling Momos’. Look out for the green food truck on your left side (after Lok puram temple) when u are traveling from vasant vihar to Hiranandani Meadows.
